The Arts are in trouble!

There is just not enough money for Arts organizations, and for most of these companies, balancing the operating budget has become difficult. To make a bad situation worse, the 2004 Florida Legislature cut funding to the arts by a shocking two-thirds.

The membership of Citizens Interested in Arts has an opportunity to develop a stronger voice in support of the Arts in South Florida. By staying informed we hope to encourage and increase Arts giving.

Keep yourself well-informed of what is happening in politics, and identify ways YOU can help!
